ABOUT My name is Ivan Verdurmen and I'm a professional business, portrait and event/sports photographer working and living in the Shuswap/Salmon Arm British Columbia region. I was inspired in photography by my father who was a avid photographer and teacher in Salmon Arm. For years, I have enjoyed photography and working at improving my skills and techniques. Portraits and candid photography is my passion and I also enjoy the connections and energy that I experience from assisting entrepreneurs with their business needs and event/sport organizers in promoting their programs and organizations. I have recently worked a political campaign in Kelowna, BC and provided candidates with photos and videos to highlight their community involvement and platforms. Due to the beautiful landscapes we possess in British Columbia, my style of photography incorporates our picturesque environment into my work. I am a graduate of the Professional Photography Program at the Photography Institute in Vancouver, BC and I have also completed training in Lightroom editing.
